At Ridgecrest, we are committed to being faithful stewards of the gift of our children. We do so through fellowship, modeling the Christian life, fun activities, and biblical teaching.

Our children’s times are divided into two complementary parts between 10am Sunday School and 11am Corporate Worship. Our children are led by adult and teenage volunteers through biblical lessons, breakfast, videos, puppet skits, and games in a 53-week curriculum. We strive to incorporate our kids into Corporate Worship as they sing, pray, and read Scriptures with us. They participate in a puppet skit with our pastor and then are dismissed to our fellowship hall for an interactive Bible lesson. Sunday evenings are kids review their morning lessons and devote their time together to singing in our kids’ Booster Band.

Each summer we hold a four-to-five week Vacation Bible School on Wednesday evenings in July. While our games, songs, and lessons are geared toward our children, we encourage the entire family to come out for dinner, fellowship, and serving our kids.

Recognizing the crucial nature of this time in our students’ lives, we strive to incorporate our teenagers into the community and service of the church while devoting specific times to Bible study and life application.  Our young adults join our adults in study and fellowship in our home fellowship groups as well as in Corporate Worship. The students also enjoy monthly activities and outings.

The focus of our church community is on the edification and growth of one another through biblical teaching and worship-focused fellowship. Our community depends upon a right focus on God and others before self; therefore, through the regenerative and empowering work of the Holy Spirit we strive to embody the two greatest commandments in our worship of God and service to one another.

Our adult studies begin at 10am on Sunday mornings with Sunday School. This open time of study and conversation currently focuses on Christian Ethics led by our outstanding Bible teachers.

Corporate worship, we believe, is vital to our fellowship, edification, and communion with God. Our weekly gatherings focus on the Scriptures. We believe in reading the Word, speaking the Word, singing the Word, praying the Word, and studying the Word. Therefore, we seek to incorporate extended Bible readings, corporate prayer time, singing of the great hymns of the Church, and in depth Scripture study. Our services begin at 11am and tend to last around 75 minutes.
